Content: COP LAND opens as NYPD officer Mury Babitch(Michael Rapaport)is driving home after a night on the town in New town in New York City. He gets sideswiped by a pair of guys on a wild late-night joy ride. He races to catch up to them, unfortunately is a gun in his face. Babitch grabs his own weapon, shoots, and killing them both. One of the internal affairs investigators, Mr Tilden believes that, there's a cover-up going on, and he wants to prove it. For Freddy, the choice is between upholding the law and protecting the woman he loves.
