Captain Roy Cronin meets ballerina Myra Lester during an air raid on Waterloo Bridge. Immediately they fall in love to each other. Soon Roy is called to the front line without going through the marriage ceremony as arranged on time. Then comes the roll of honor whereby Roy is reported dead in the battlefield.
