Matt Reeves, the retired American Kickboxing Champion, leads a quiet life perfecting his martial art skills in Los Angeles. However, as he watches his good friend killed by Negaal, founder of the kickboxing federation in Africa, because of refusing to join the federation, Matt vows to stop Negaal infuriated by Matt's interference. Negaal also orders Matts execution. Croft is sent to kill Matt. However, he not only has not killed Matt but joins Matt to confront Negaal. At a gala event held at Negaal's private casino, Matt exposes Negaal to the crowd for the murderer that he is Matt and Negaal each has to fight the battle of their lives. Near equals in ability, but opposites in terms of good and evil, right and wrong.
