Henry Griffin's past as a U.S. Naval Intelligence Officer gone bad finds him twelve years later in hiding. He has been sumoned by Hideko Minushoto, a Yakuza warlord, to assassinate the CEO of Virtual Memory Technology, a megaforce in computer intelligence. As an incentive to cooperate, the Yakuza kidnap Henry's eleven year old daughter. She is placed in a life - threatening situation and will die in 48 hours if Henry fails his mission.
Henry performs the assassination then suits up to find his daughter's secret location.
