Lee Man Fong is a down and out, womanizing writer, though he already has a steady girlfriend Daisy. Before Daisy's father passes away, he has promised to take care of Daisy and to marry her, just for the dying person's sake. Strange things start to happen, But Fong is still unwilling to get married, and has spilt up with Daisy.
After being kicked out of the house, Fong reverts to his old flame Sammy. Sammy leads him her Cousin Jerry's old apartment. Fong soon picks up a gorgeous young woman May from the nearby playground. Only a later does he finds out that May is a ghost waiting for the man who has forsaken his promise. Fong gets scared to half dead. A man claiming to be the owner Jerry arrives. But Sammy is no where to be found. Fong solicits for the help of his pal Wong, and the later finds out that Jerry is also a dead soul, wishing to see Sammy
