When the son of Vegas police chief Lew Rawlins turns up dead, covered with the telltale scars of a seasoned Shoot-fighter. Rawlins focuses his grief and fury on young casino magnate Lance Stuart, secret promoter of the deadly games. Rawlins arranges the release of jailed Shootfigher promote Eddy Marquette, who has ties to the best fighters in the world. The plan: use Eddy to assemble a team of the best unknown fighters, train them to kill even more efficiently, then infiltrate the secret Vegas games and bring down Stuart. Training begins outside of Las Vegas' famous brothel, the Chicken Ranch. Under the film yet wise hand of Shingo, a fierce former Shootfighter, the team sizes each other up as they spar. By spiting the four: Clyde, Ray, Reuben and Nick, against each other up as dizzying variety of mock-deadly games, Shingo teachers them that they all have weaknesses and that real strength lies in developing as a team.
