In the not-too distant future after a brutal war against South American durg cartels, virtual reality(VR) games, VR sex and artificial drugs have replaced real experiences. While seemingly safe, virtual reality is as addictive and deadly as the real thing.
The police are overwhelmed by VR related crime, the manufacturers of the drugs or games can't be arrested without evidence which can only be obtained through the sophisticated technology possessed by Cybertech, the high tech counterpart to the street cops.
