After the death of her parents, Mok Siu Long (Kiki Sheung) comes under the guardianship of her aunt Tong Ying (Susanna Kwan). At school, she meets the uninhibited Si Yu (Leslie Cheung) and they eventually get married. To her shock and dismay, Siu Long then finds out that her entire marriage was engineered by Tong Ying. Feeling betrayed and thinking that Si Yu only married her to save his own skin, Siu Long hatches a plan to take revenge on Tong Ying.
