A man living in the Cho Sun Dynasty Era named Kim Boong-do, a Deputy Chief of Hong Mun-Gwan, loses his parents and wife because of an incident related to the royal family. He seeks for the revenge but eventually ends up failing. Right in the moment when he is on the verge of being killed, he finds himself in strange surroundings. Boong-do lands in Seoul during the modern era in the year 2012. Meanwhile, Choi Hee-jin, a new actress, heads to audition for the new drama . During the shoot, she meets Boong-do by coincidence the moment he flew in from the past. Also, it was the moment when he can travel through time only in moments when he was about to get killed in the past (Cho Sun Dynasty Era). Boong-do realizes that he can travel through time only in moments when he is facing death. As Boong-do goes back and forth from Cho Sun Dynasty to modern times, he runs into Hee-jin and starts to have odd feelings. Then one day, Hee-jin brings Boong-do to a huge library where he sees the photo print of the Annals of the Cho Sun Dynasty. He discovers that the historical incident ended as a happy ending as he wished, but at the same time, he ends up dying. What kind of future awaits Boong-do and Hee-jin?
