The Emperor's New Clothes is written by Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen. This classical folktale is full of humour and comic. It is about how the king and his ministers were tricked by two con men because of their vanity. It unveils the dark side of human nature. This story also reminds us to be an upright and honest person and to view all issues objectively. We must not deceive anybody, including ourselves and must not let our vanity get the better of us.
