Rumpelstiltskin is an interesting story filled with fantasy. It is about how a miller's daughter weaves gold out of straw for the king with the help of the little man. However, once the girl becomes queen, she must give him her first-born child. After the queen pleaded with him not to take her child away, he relented on the condition that she must guess his name correctly. This fable warns us that a person should be kind-hearted and honest and should not make promises that could not be kept. Furthermore, one should help others wholeheartedly and should not expect reward.
