With his wedding a week away, hot blooded Blaudio (Robert Sean Leonard) can't wait to marry the beautiful young Hero (Kate Beckinsale). To distract him, his best friend (Washington) devises delightful mischief - a romantic trap for the sharp tongued Beatrice(Thompson) and the man she most loves to hate, Benedick (Branagh). Their amusement is almost spoiled by the jealous scheming of the rakish Don John (Keanu Reeves), But love and laughter prevail when the local law (Michael Keaton) unwittingly exposes the plot - and all the trouble proves to be Much Ado about Nothing.
