Li Chun Foon (Dave Wang) is a swordsman who spends most of his days in a drunken state. While his swordplay suffers due to his inebriation, he still meets the lovely Snow (Gigi Lai), who agrees to become his wife. But Li is drunk to the gills even on their wedding day, which upsets his stern father (Japanese action legend Sonny Chiba). Even after the wedding. Li continues to spend too much time drinking. His pathetic state becomes abusive for Snow, and his father becomes even more enraged at his son's uselessness. Finally, Li is challenged to rise above his pitiful existence, and he agrees to undertake a dangerous mission for his father. But will he be able to regain his skill with the sword, or his self-respect?
