Ho has a bright future with Hong Kong's police force, but Ho's wife wants to emigrate to Manhattan of the United States, so he quits. Ho is accepted by New York's police force. When he reports to duty, a gang comes and wipes out the unit. Eventually, he forces to sell hot dogs. Ho's wife meets Chinese Wheeler dealer, Chan, who teaches her how to double the money overnight. She changes from a tender wife into a hard business woman. In fact, Ho is recruited by police as an undercover. His assignment is to investigate Chan as he is suspected to have a criminal background. Although the Hos and the Chans keep on meeting, loving and hating, all the while in the shadow of the Brooklyn Bridge until the explosive end.
