In May 1972, President Hoover, who managed to manage FBI for 48 years, died, and President Nickson appointed Gray, an official of the Department of justice, without an investigation, to take over, to make FBI a senior secret agent uncommon, and the White House's intention to manipulate FBI. In June 1972, the Watergate security guards found someone sneak into the Democratic headquarters to install the eavesdropper and candid files; Mark Fett (Ni Aian Xun), a deputy director of FBI, found evidence pointing to the White House staff. When he was trying to take further action, the new director ordered the prohibition of interrogating the White House officials and Mark's ending of the case within two days. Although Mark felt a serious situation, in order to maintain the core value of democracy, freedom and equality in the United States, he decided not only to find out the truth, but also to make everything in the public.
