Orphan MA TIN-YAU (Leung Chiu Wai) was brought up in a convent in Macau by a nun called HONG NI (Lee Sze Kee). After being admitted to university, YAU decides to come to Hong Kong to look for his biological parents.
Upon his arrival in Hong Kong, YAU gets to know retired doctor FUNG CHUNG (Kwan Hoi San) and is asked to put up at his place. There YAU encounters a girl called WONG AH-HEUNG (Lo Man Yee). Despite his deep affection for HEUNG, YAU has hesitation in the relationship in which of HEUNG may be his half-sister. In the meantime, YAU?s buddy LUNG (Yim Chau Wah) begins to woo HEUNG and the three are soon caught up in a bitter love triangle.
NI finally reveals to YAU his identity and the lad is shocked to learn that he is actually the son of the cold-hearted playboy FUNG YEUK-LAI (Tse Yin). As YAU is still wondering whether he should be reunited with LAI, he is suddenly kidnapped...
