Sunflower is a virtuous journalist of sports. Once, whilst having an interview with a holder of free-fighting champion, he is accidentally injured and subsequently hospitalised. As Sunflower is insured, his cousin Ah Sau, a solicitor assistant, manages to convince him to pretend from being paralysed, so that a large amount of compensation can be fraudulently obtained. However, the Insurance Company appoints two private detectives to investigate the case. On the other hand, Tiger Dog, the boxer who initially injured Sunflower, assumes that the critical injury is caused by his negligence. He decides to abandon his boxing career and deploys himself to Sunflower's home to offer personal care to Sunflower. Sunflower feels shameful to continue deceiving him. Hence, Sunflower uses provocative terms to encourage Tiger Dog to resume boxing. Ah Sau personally conspires with a gambling group to persuade Tiger Dog to be deliberately defeated in the forthcoming match. On the day of competition, when Sunflower sees that Tiger Dog is gradually being defeated and bleeding, he jumps up to the stage from his wheel-chair angrily......
