Very Lively French Ballet music composed by Offenbach and transcribed by Rosenthal. Originally recorded in June 1954 in Boston Symphony Hall with Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops Orchestra as an experimental stereo recording by Jack Pfeiffer. What started out as an experiment in early stereo recording has become a standard for comparison in terms of recording quality. The dynamics will test all playback systems - especially at 45 rpm with the increased trackability of all the low level information cut into the grooves. This may not the most serious music but it certainly is fun. Classic's previous release at 45 rpm on 180g vinyl was as a two disc set which with samples from the entire performance. This Quiex Super Vinyl Profile edition is the entire performance for the first time available as a four Disc set at 45rpm. These will not last long so buy your now or cry when they are sold out.
