Since the end of the Cold War, the United States has remained the only true superpower. When crises have developed in far corners of the globe, the U.S. has often taken responsibility for dealing with them. International diplomacy has been the first and most important means of maintaining world order. But when diplomacy fails, the fast military strike becomes a power option. The conduct of a modern military campaign requires the coordinated efforts of thousands of high-tech warriors backed up by a massive network of support services. Their high-tech F-16 Fighting Falcon, f-117 Nighthawk and F-111 Aardvark aircraft are capable of destroying fortified targets with state-of-the-art munitions.
