This release contains Don McLean’s three studio albums from the late 70s/early 80s that brought about his critical and commercial renaissance.
All three albums feature some of McLean’s best songwriting alongside his unique renditions of some timeless classics, best illustrated by his worldwide hits with his own “Castles In The Air” and Roy Orbison’s “Crying”, which reached # 1 in the UK.
The classics include Hank Williams’ “Your Cheating Heart”, Buddy Holly’s “It Doesn’t Matter Anymore”, Gordon Lightfoot’s “If You Could Read My Mind”, as well as “Love Hurts”, “Dream Lover” and “Sea Cruise”.
